MOSER STRING QUARTET
STRING QUARTET

They are a string quartet based in Basel and studying in Hochschule für Musik Basel, receiving lessons from renowned musicians, such as Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Silvia Simionescu (Gringolts Quartet), Anton Kernjak and Anna Gebert. Moser String Quartet has been invited to several festivals and masterclasses, such as Accademia Musicale Chigiana (Siena, Italy) with Maestro Bruno Giuranna; International Chamber Music Campus Jeunesses Musicales of Deutschland (Weikersheim, Germany) with Casals Quartet, Heime Müller (Artemis Quartet), and Günter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet); Espresso Masterclass (Alessandria, Italy) with Simone Gramaglia (Quartetto di Cremona), Jana Kuss (Kuss Quartet), and Martti Rousi. In Basel Musik Akademie, they have also played in masterclasses for Eberhard Feltz (February 2022), Steven Isserlis ( October 2021) and Anthony Marwood (May 2021). The Quartet has been awarded 1st Prize ex aequo in Gran Premi Musical Lauredià (Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra 2021), and 2nd Prize ex aequo in Orpheus Chamber Music Competition (Switzerland 2021). They were finalist in the 9th Edition of Antón García Abril International Chamber Music Competition in Baza (Granada, Spain). In 2021, Moser Quartet was selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto Network. Was born in 2020 from love and interest in chamber music, and a strong feeling for playing together and bringing them to everyone.
