ANNA TONINI BOSSI
VIOLONCELLO

Anna Tonini-Bossi was born in 1996 and she began to study the cello at the age of 8 years. After taking her first musical exams as a privatist at the statal Conservatoire “G.F. Ghedini” in Cuneo, she attended the classical international high school in Alba and continued to study cello as a privatist with the professor Elisabeth Wilson. In the school year 2013-2014 she admitted to the high specialized studies with Natalia Gutman at the Conservatoire “G.Verdi” in Turin and the following year she took the lessons with the big soloist at the Music School of Fiesole. In 2015 she achieved her classical maturity with the score of 100/100 and honors. She also achieved the ESABAC ( French Baccalaureat) and she was admitted to the University of music of Vienna (MDW) where, in January 2020 she achieved the first degree with (Erstes Diplom) with the full marks in the class with the professor Maria Sellner. At the present she continues her studies at the MDW where she is following the program Profil Kammermusik. In 2017 she won the third prize as a soloist at the “Concorso per giovani Musicisti” “Citta Treviso” and the first competition “Giovanni Mosca” in Alba. In 2018 she performanced with the ensemble SolistInnen Kammerorchester in Vienna and in November of the same year played at the festival Back To Bach in Turin, where she is invited also for the edition in 2020. In October 2020 was a member of the Youth Orchestra of the European Union EUYO, where she was selected as first cello for the concerts in autumn 2021. In 2020 she was a member of the Orchestra of the Olympic of Vicenza OTO. Anna Tonini Bossi dedicated herself to the chamber music. In the summer of 2017 she took part in the masterclass with the professor Giovanni Gnocchi in Santu Lussurgiu in Sardinia, where she could perform with some famous international musicians such as Milena Simovic, Roman Simovic and the professor Gnocchi. In October 2019 she was a member of the string quartet Hamamelis in Vienna and in August 2020 she was selectionated to participate to the first edition of th international Masterclass Slavonice 2020 in Czech Republic organised and directed by a members of professor of the Wiener Philarmoniker. In 2021 she founded Amai Quartet and is studied at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona. In October 2021 the ensemble won the first prize and the public prize at the competition for sting quartet “Pietro Marzani” of Rovereto. In October 2020 was a member of the Youth Orchestra of the European Union EUYO, where she was selected as first cello for the concerts in autumn 2021
